Math, Science, and Technology Magnet Academy (MSTMA) has been named a 2026 Top Magnet School of Excellence by Magnet Schools of America—one of the highest honors awarded to magnet schools nationwide.
This recognition places MSTMA among a select group of schools across the country recognized for exceptional academic achievement, integrated and innovative curricula, diversity, and strong family and community partnerships. Schools on this list represent the highest-performing magnet programs in the nation.
For MSTMA, this honor reflects years of intentional, student-centered work grounded in rigorous STEM instruction, culturally responsive practices, and a deep commitment to student well-being and belonging. Over the past three years, MSTMA has grown from Magnet School of Distinction, to Magnet School of Excellence, and now to Top Magnet School of Excellence—a progression that reflects sustained improvement and collective effort.
MSTMA will be formally recognized at the Magnet Schools of America National Conference in San Diego in April 2026.
