Our Community

MSTMA is a schoolwide STEM magnet in Boyle Heights, with a legacy that began in 1982 at Roosevelt High School and over 15 years as a standalone school since 2010.

Co-located on the Roosevelt campus, our students experience the best of both worlds—full access to athletics, clubs, leadership, and spirit programs, along with a small, supportive school environment where every student is known and valued.

Grounded in science, technology, and social justice, MSTMA continues a legacy of activism and prepares students to lead, innovate, and create change.

Does your student need LAUSD bus transportation? Eligible MSTMA students who live more than 2 miles from school must opt in for transportation each school year through the LAUSD Parent Portal. This includes new and returning students in grades 9–12. | Si su estudiante necesita transporte escolar de LAUSD, las familias elegibles de MSTMA que viven a más de 2 millas de la escuela deben solicitar el transporte cada año escolar a través del Portal de Padres de LAUSD.
