Admissions Process

ENROLLMENT STEPS FOR MSTMA

Congratulations! Welcome to the Math, Science, and Technology Magnet Academy (MSTMA). Ready to become a part of MSTMA? Here’s how to proceed after you’ve applied and been selected. 
 

Step 1: Apply to MSTMA

Deadline: November 15

  • Application Portal: Ready to start your journey at MSTMA? Apply through the LAUSD eChoices website. Don't forget to select Roosevelt SH S/T/M, 1775101, in your application to join us.
  • Application Confirmation: A confirmation email will be sent to ensure your application has been received. Please check the status of your magnet application at the LAUSD eChoices portal by clicking on 'Apply Now,' logging in with the email and password you used to apply, and completing any pending actions.
 

Step 2: Confirmation Letters

Date: January 17

  • Next Steps: After submitting your application, you will receive a confirmation letter from the LAUSD Magnet Office. Please verify your information and submit any necessary corrections to the district by January 17, 2025.
 

Step 3: Accept or Decline Offers

Dates: March 10 - April 11

  • Make Your Decision: The deadline to accept or decline your offer is April 11, 2025. You can manage your decision through the eChoices portal or by contacting our office directly. Waitlisted students will be contacted subsequently.
 

Step 4: Enrollment Packets

Start Date: March 11

    • Next Steps: If you accept your offer, you will be invited via email to pick up your enrollment packet from the MSTMA office starting March 11. Please ensure your offer is accepted before visiting to collect your packet.
    • After you ACCEPT your offer at MSTMA, please visit us in the Magnet Office to pick up your enrollment packet on one of the days and times listed on the calendar below.
