Magnet Bus Transportation

Who qualifies? Magnet bus transportation is available for MSTMA students who live two or more miles from campus and have opted in through the LAUSD Parent Portal.

How to request transportation: Families must log in to the LAUSD Parent Portal to request transportation services and update their student’s transportation preferences.

Families may still opt in after May 30, but routes may already be finalized and availability may be limited.

Important: Students should report promptly after dismissal. All MSTMA buses depart from the 6th Street Parking Lot.

Please note: Transportation services are based on eligibility, availability, and district routing. Pick-up and drop-off may be at a nearby community stop rather than directly at a student’s home.

Dismissal at 3:25 PM | Buses depart at 3:40 PM
  • Tuesday (Early Release):

How to get a TAP card

  • Visit the official LAUSD GoPass page: lausd.org/metro
