We are committed to partnering with parents because we know you are our biggest asset.  We have monthly coffee with the principal meetings, parent workshops and other opportunities for parents to be directly involved in shaping our school. Our community partners such as College Track, I.am Angel Foundation and the LA Partnership for Los Angeles School provide additional dynamic learning experiences and real world opportunities for all of our students.

Our curriculum is both rigorous and nurturing. Our test scores are among the best in the district. Our school is recognized for our use of technology to equip students in their pursuits to advocate for and create the resources to support local communities. MTSMA is considered the 8th best school in LAUSD in 2022 and is one of the nations best according to the U.S. News and World Report. We are a California Distinguished school and a Gold Ribbon School. We have reached 100% graduation rate for the past several years, including class of 2022. We are proud of that percentage as it is a demonstration of the care, intervention and support we provide all students.

Our use of restorative justice practices ensures that all students are a part of our school culture. I look forward to continued partnership with all MSTMA students, families and staff as we navigate this school year.
