College Track
Mission: Empower students from underserved communities to graduate from college
College Track recruits students from underserved communities and works continuously with them from the summer before ninth grade through college graduation. Our ten-year program removes the barriers that prevent students from earning their college degree by providing them with comprehensive academic support, leadership training, financial and college advising, and scholarships. We teach our students the skills necessary to succeed in college and beyond.
Partnering with’s Foundation, The California Endowment, and the Wasserman Foundation, College Track will focus on providing students the resources they need to get into and graduate from college. College Track is teaching students skills in arts and digital media while guiding students toward the emerging careers of tomorrow in science, technology, engineering, and math. Led by Site Director Tina Kim, the students of Boyle Heights are leading a community where college is the expectation, not the exception.
